Reflection
We hear in today’s Gospel that Jesus is the bread of life which means He is essential for life. Jesus is present in our midst to nourish and sustain us on the journey. What hunger does the Bread of Life satisfy in me? Am I content to discover and welcome even the simplest gifts which come to me?
.
Prayer
Gracious God, You provide in Jesus a sign of Your love and presence. Help us to be grateful for the many ways in which You grace us daily. Satisfy the hunger of our hearts which yearn for You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
